I must admit that I am a bit puzzled by the whole barbeque blog forum, as I don’t quite know the purpose of all of the different sites. Some hold valid resources, books and training manuals and suggested food items and recipes; realistically that is beneficial to many.

There is a considerable amount of talk about competitions and winner and losers. This is valid to those that compete and follow the competitive races for top barbeque chef. I admit that I am somewhat embarrassed, as I did not realize that this was such a competitive event in the cooking arena today.

After reading the different barbeque blogs, I had to go out and take a look at my stainless steel barbeque. I felt terrible for the poor thing, as if it was somehow neglected by my total lack of interest. I have never cooked upon that grill with any level of excitement or anticipation rather I have gone to it prior to dinner time and slapped some beef, fish or chicken upon its grill. I can say that we shared a beverage once, when I was making beer can chicken but other than that, there isn’t much more my barbeque and I have shared. SHHHH! Don’t tell the barbeque bloggers or they might send the barbeque police to rescue my barbeque.
